The amazing things in the universe, maybe

The universe is full of many wonders. But doesn’t this one sound amazing and insanely complicated? “transcendental bijection of the spacetime continuum, an asymptotic projection of the Calabi–Yau manifold manifesting itself in anti-de Sitter space.”

A wormhole is in theory a simple thing: a distortion of space-time that would allow matter to move between those two points. Wormholes are consistent with the general theory of relativity, which means they are entirely possible, but there is no confirmation they exist at all!

American theoretical physicist John Archibald Wheeler coined the term wormhole, but others including Kip Thorne and Stephen Hawking added more science to it over decades.
